How do you create sub.domain1.com to be the same as domain2.com

Weird question.

I have website

sub.domain1.com

I want that website to be accessed by www.domain2.com

Lets say we currently have a page sub.domain1.com/thanks.html

I want the domain 2 to work with the same architecture: www.domain2.com/thanks.html

I know this is more then just a simple domain forwarder. Does anyone have any idea how something like this is setup? Thanks

You would have to contact the hosting company and have them FW the domain.
OR
simply use a META tag on sub.domain.com/index.html page. (Google: Meta Tag Redirect Code) and have the page redirect to whatever page you wish.
