I am going for an interview, and an insider gave me a tip to analyze the company's site. Is there anyway I can determine the number of visitors, trends etc about their site?
What kind of information, would you look for and point out? This is a position I want, so don't want like a know it all, but yet so my worth right away.
Any thoughts?

You never know, their stats may be public.
Try the following:-
www.domain.com/sitestats /webstats /stats
etc
If you get lucky, the first thing you want to tell them to do is to make their stats non-public.
