Hi,

I want to display the same link on every page of a site linking back to root (the home page). Is there significance or difference in using a link that is either

a) ./index.html

or full url as

b) http://www.example.com

i seem to recall someone saying b was unfavourable but i can't remember why

thanks

This is a question we see from time to time. There are a bunch of threads related to this topic in the SERP for "absolute url [google.com]".
