Redirect my domain to another domain?

How do i redirect a current domain and its content to a new domain?

i have one website at the moment where the index page is a html page the rest is a wordpress blog

i have bought a new domain as i want to be known by something else..

What is the easiest and best method of redirecting all traffic hitting the 1st domain to the 2nd domain?

i.e

if someone lands one

domain1.com it shoots them to domain2.com

if they land on

domain1.com/hope.html it will direct to domain2./hope.html

any help is appreciated

You want a 301 permanent redirect. Are you using Apache or IIS as your webserver?
