Hi All,

I am having a website which is 3 year old. I stopped maintaining it over last 2 years and there is not much traffic / adsense revenue coming from it. Also i belive there are certain my SEO practices made my site to drop SERP in search engines. I am thinking of doing any one of following actions
1. Clean the content and move the cleaned content to new domain and start fresh.

2. Clean the content with in old site itself.

In any of the above two option which will be good to gain SERP again.

If you haven't applied any black-hat stuff in the past and your site was not banned, then i would opt for #2.
Some algorithms value, older, established domains higher that new ones. but this can change tomorrow.

I wouldn't go for a new domain name unless the 'certain SEO practices' were very very black, offsite and now out of your control (ie you can't remove them).
If its gray or fixable, keep the same domain
YMMV
