For example if you search for 'minnesota department of revenue' (I know I'm not suppose to post specifics like this, but I figure you would not think I'm promoting the IRS ;) ) on google, then you'll see underneath the main listing it shows four other main sections such as forms, income tax, etc.
I've seen this on other sites as well but haven't been able to sort out what determines if it appears or not, let alone how it determines what pages to use.
Does anyone know how this works?
All links on google's SERPs just link straight to the page its listing. However, these 'sublinks' actually link to google first, for example:
[google.com...]
The one thing I noticed in there is the variable/value set 'oi=smap'.
Is this a result of using a google sitemap possibly?
