We are going to build a real estate DB for a city and where wondering if anyone can advise on the way to max the revenues from all angles. In that I mean estate agents, potential customers, mediating between customers and agents etc.

Could you be more specific on what kind of DB you're building?

You could start by searching "real estate" and see what the top sites are doing. My wife is a realtor and I built and maintain her site. We get tons of requests from people to subscribe to their service, most often some sort of lead referral scheme.

You may want to get a friendly local realtor to forward you those requests.
