Yahoo mail problem

I send newsletters to a list of my customers (~12k emails) 2 times every month. Around a few months ago I started having problems with all my customers with Yahoo addresses. My newsletters would get bounced with the following error:

Failed Recipient: xyzbogusemail@yahoo.com
Reason: Remote host said: 451 mta154.mail.re2.yahoo.com Resources temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. [#4.16.4:190].

The number of success rate of sending the newsletter to yahoo emails varies everytime. Sometimes 75% would go through, and sometimes only 30%. This only happens to Yahoo addresses. I never had this problem with gmail and msn addresses. I searched on Google and found that some people are having 451 problems with Yahoo as well.

I already contacted Yahoo telling them the situation. They replied with a standard copy/paste reply that does not even remotely address the problem I am having, and hinted that I should review my emailing practice and I should offer option to unsubscribe...etc. (btw I do have that option and i really don't think there is anything wrong with my mail practice)

Has anyone experienced similar problems before?

I had a lot of problems actually receiving email with my yahoo account. In the end I had to access my mail via their WAP mobile phone service website.

Carried on for weeks before settling down again. So it's quite possible it's not just you.

I found this article on slashdot about some have found that 25% to 75% of Yahoo mail servers may disappear at any given time. I am not sure if this is the reason why I am getting so many bounced mail with error 451 though.

So nobody else on WebmasterWorld has this problem?
