Any feedback appreciated.

Well, I am glad to report that I signed a large new client.
They already offer 24*24 support via phone, and needs to implement also a live chat system. It needs to be incorporated with the rest of my new PHP/MySQL web dev.(Possibly offering as many languages as possible)

Any experience in implementing such a system?

Please sticky me any link (Purchase or any dev like Source forge)
I rather go with a for a fee system to be sure that I’ll get a good support.
Thanks

I use "Liveclient", freebies but good support if you donate something. I donated $5 and the chap was quite helpful.

also comes with a little application for the desktop so I know if someone's on the site in the FAQ section.

It's pretty slick but may not be impressive enough for a major client if only as a free download and small company.

I removed the FAQ module and just left it as plain live help, as I didn't overly like the FAQ system and it seemed slow. Other downside is the desktop app doesn't like being switched off via Windows, will hang for a good 30 seconds or so but hops off happily if you use the 'close' button within the app.

Dunno if that's much use to you?

Coffeecup has one that one of my clients use, they are happy with it. Runs about $30 or so and has a free trial if I am not mistaken.
