that said, i don't have a choice--i have to send an html newsletter to 3,000 people. i'll probably use a service due to the volume of recipients.
i want to do some testing first (evidence for boss that this is a bad approach). i am using outlook and i have the html coding. how do i send this? my email is set to HTML, and it uses M$ word to edit. simply pasting in the code does not work, i receive only the html code. do i embed it somehow?
i've been searching for the answer to this on this site but i can't find it--usually i don't even have to post, G search pulls up my answer. not this time.
thanks.
however, i don't have the login info for our corporate website, technical put it on their list of things to do. therefore i can't test the file at hand.
in the meantime, how do i test this myself? (without putting it on my server) i can't figure it out. i just want to send this html code and have it render in my email clients. how do people do this? i don't expect it to work across all email clients (yet), i can't even get past the first step--sending it!
thanks
upload the page
load the URL in IE (not sure how it works in other browsers)
