Web OS and linking images

I have a web site with images that load from another site.

The storage site has a subdomain, and my jpegs are within a folder.

For example, main domain is, for example, x.com
I have a sub domain names cat, and a folder within that folder called images. I can reach that folder my either.
cat.x.com/images or www.x.xom/cat/images

Everything worked fine until this weekend when the storage site migrated from HELM to WEB OS.

Now I can view an image in my browser (www.cat.x.com/images/sample) so I know the subdomain is working; I can link and load an image by using the full name (www.x.com/cat/images/sample); but when I attempt to load an image from within my site from (www.cat.x.com/images/samples) it doesn't load.

I assume it's something to do with WEB OS as all links worked great before. It's only when I load an image within the web page. I can click a link and open a new window using the subdomain with no problem. Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

There may be an anti-hotlinking feature in WEB OS?
