hello people.

I am redesigning a web-site for a nonprofit company and the owner would like to have a navigation setup where when a visitor would point to a link the link would show a submenu to all the other links on that page.

for example

link --> about us when mouse touches the link I want a menu to show up under it with more links (like the links at the top of the page on the www.microsoft.com website)

does anyone know how to do this with MS Frontpage?

here is what the website looks like now before I redo it, and as you can see it needs alot of work. [centrohispano.org...]

if so all the help you provide will be greatly apreciated.

thank you for your time and help

Don't know if you can do it wysiwyg, but you can hand code it easily with a hidden div. Then use a javascript onMouseover/onMouseout to reveal and rehide.

I'm not much in writing code in HTML or JAVA

I found a few free codes but don't know how or where to insert the codes,

The writer tells me where to insert the code but when I follow the directions and make the corrections (add my content to where it belongs) it doesn't work and it messes up the whole page.

here is what the site looks like now [centrohispano.org...]

and here is what the site will look like when it is complete (temp site before being moved)
[angelfire.com...]

the links at the top under the marquee are the links the owner wants to expand on mouse over.

I never did this before and it is a challenge for me, I never coded in JAVA or HTML before and I am begining to like this alot.

Hi thunder3davis,

Welcome to webmasterworld [webmasterworld.com].

We try not to do "please look at my site" posts here, it might be an idea to edit your posts and delete the urls, before a mod does ;o)

Try a more general approach, I am sure that there are many here that will be able to help you out.

Also try a site search (link at top of page) for "dynamic menu", or some variation, I'm sure you will find some help for your specific problem.

Have fun, I am sure you will find WebmasterWorld to be of great value.
