Does anyone know about a hospitality/restaurant reservation system PHP MySQL based
(GPL)
I wish reading more about the concept before cranking
my editor and hard coding my own (if I decide to)

What area of hospitality reservations do you want to cover?
Front of house - room booking, conferences etc..
or just restaurant?

There might be some commercial apps out there that offer demos (e.g. search for remanco, Ramesys)... which could assist in your own database design.

Or within hotscripts look under PHP : Scripts and Programs : Vertical Markets - the two examples are commercial though once again offer enough basic info to design your own (userviews etc...)
