Hello
Webmonkey has published a rather long article about
meta tags and emerging new tech

I think it would be interesting for the group to get each other feelings about it

due to our no URL posting.. sorry you need to search for it :)

regards

Henry

The bottom line of this overlong article is this quote:

Indeed. Which brings us to this rather key caveat: In this tutorial, we'll be looking at a mishmash of different technologies that are not yet widely adopted, and may well never be. (That includes the aforementioned Robot Agents.) As of press time, not a one of these technologies will deliver the slightest boost to your Google PageRank or your listing on HotBot. And there’s absolutely no guarantee they will in the future.

I know... but does that statement closes the door
to opinion or discussion on proposed emerging tech?

Remember Xerox three founders were considered as fools!

I do not see any reasons that should impeach one to dig in the article and makes its own judgment
Although I respect yours

In this instance we're discussing a technology article. The link is fine so here it is:

Has anyone used any of the technologies discussed in the article? I finally read it today, and the thought of the SMBmeta is great for our small business (if it works), but I'm more concerned with the Dublin Core portion.

Any thoughts on the RDF setup discussed there?

Thanks,
Max
