Reverse Ego Search

What do you call it

I am attempting to build some pages on my personal site to test a theory that people will run a search for their own name once a year or more. Would you call searching for your own name a Reverse Ego Search or an Ego Search?

I would have thought if you search for your own name it is an ego search. Not sure though what a reverse ego search could be.

Yep, but reverse ego searching?

I'm trying to think of something that it might relate to but I'm lost!

Perhaps you type in your name and click right through to the bottom of the barrel and to see how low you really are:)

Gee! I'm an astronaut, a rap singer, a professor, an elected official, a corporation, and an engineer!

And that was only of the first three Google pages! Too bad the real me didn't show up there yet. Ah well.

Actually it would be really sad if some of the more unusual nicks didn't show up number on in Google.

I must be fairly egotistic. I bought my name .com and worked on it until it beat out all the other guys by the same name. I search my name at every update. :)

I awoke this morning to the answer to 'reverse ego searching'!

You spell your name backwards and see what comes up :)

As I expected; nothing but colorful answers :-P

Vanity Search

Sataclaus, I know how a seasonal business can be; you get bored, you start to fool around, before you know it.... You have a full-fledge hobby.
