I'm still trying to set up a domain name for my server.
The domain administration asks for a dns server address, and an ip address, and I don't know what to edit for the domain name in the conf file.

Can someone help me with all this?

Thanks.

hi Jamie_White,

to understand you clearly, please differ between your web and your dns server.

first of all give the details to the domain administration. they need the domain name server (dns) for your domain and the ip address of your server where the domain is 'pointing' to.

then you can setup your webserver. please take a look into the documentation of your webserver for this. often it's only one or two settings in the configuration file(s) of the webserver, depending which one you're using.
