Can I be the moderator?

I've had my first request fron a Client about discussion groups.
Where can I find good info about this subject.
Can my Client be the discussion grouip moderator or is this done by the ISP?

Hi Inventor,

There are a number of websites that will host private discussion boards / forums for your client. Google should help you find some, try "discussion board hosting".

They will let you assign moderators, administrators etc., and then invite users to your forum.

Alternatively, there are also numerous free and commercial BBS packages that you can set-up on your own server -searching on "discussion board scripts" seems like a good starting place - plenty of ASP, PHP, Perl offerings available.
