Well I have taken care of few accounts on the my server.. and pratically removed all the scripts and files that are not really required..

better safe then sorry :)

Further down the front page of silicon.com it seems that it's a hoax. Plus, this site only gives two points. And apache is still far more common than ms (see netcraft.com) so their point system doesn't make sense.

I think they are looking more at the OS, NOT at the server software. Linux and BSD are typically a bit harder to hack- well, maybe a bit more secure!- than MS OS. I think that is the point the scoirinbg system is making, not the popularity of the software in question...
