My jump menus work fine (good enough) locally. When they are uploaded/ftp to my web host they break down and will not work. I have some other issues that I'll deal with after I get them to work globally. Any thoughts. Thanks.

Have you configured "Server info" in "Site definition" submenu? By default, site definition is set to "None" and you have to alter it to FTP and then fill all the fields properly.
