If you say no you arn't removing the listing are you infringing in any laws?
Not sure if you would be infringing on any laws but, out of respect I would remove the listing per their request. It may take a whole 5 seconds to do so and then everyone will be happy, especially the person requesting the removal. ;)
Because its the polite thing to do, and you really should be respecting their decision on such things - if they wanted to make it legal they could have simply had their legal team send you a letter. If they've taken the time to ask politely it's only fair that you comply with their request.

In terms of the law I think this falls well within a grey area. I have had users request a listing then threaten legal action to have it removed, then request it be re-listed.
I think you just have to go with their wishes on this one.
