I've just come across 2 sites that have ripped my own and used my text and images on their site. Actually they still come below me in the important listings, but thats beside the point.

One of them recently asked if I would like to exchange links (cheeky barsteward) so I have mailed him informing him of the error of his ways and that he has 24 hrs to remove the stolen property.

The other is a little more tricky.....
The site is http:// www.keyword-keyword-keyword.to
This is the TLD for Tonga but I can't find where to find the registered owners details. Anyone have ideas, or should I just contact the registrar and ask him to take it down?

[tonic.to...] will get the registrar, but they don't seem to have a 'whois'.

There are statements on the website that say they don't tolerate spam, including a spam reporting email address. Maybe that will help.

Thanks msr986, my blood was boiling so much I didn't see that when I went in looking for a whois.
I'm actually mailing them now, so I will make reference to the spam and ask politely (LOL) if they can help.
This copying thing gets right up my nose and seems to be quite frequent.

As far as I can tell www.tonic.to is the official Tonga domain registrar and they don't offer a full whois service. Try contacting them, I guess.

So, just to keep you all informed.....

Seems like the Tonga site has disappeared (from the first 3 pages at least) from Google. I saw that as quite a tricky bit of webpage playing... and it seems that Google did too. I wonder if the people at tonic will respond to my mail.

The other site is still up there, but I mailed the 'silly' webmaster so I'll just wait to see what happens. Tomorrow I'll mail his ISP and hit another spam report on him.

There are plenty of spammers aiming at my keywords, but I get first place in those I want, so I just keep schtum and get on with my life. When it comes to stealing my stuff, I draw the line and get down and get dirty (in a clean way of course)!
