Gator advertisements - new study

This is a study of Gator Advertisements and Targeting at this url [cyber.law.harvard.edu...] but the coolest thing is a tool they have that can check what Gator is targeting at any url, like this one [asp-cyber.law.harvard.edu...] that lists what kind of stuff Gator is targeting on google. On that url is you change th domain name to another site it will list what they are targeting for that site.

Anyway, gator is popping up ads all over google it looks like, targeting over 658 keystring/advertisement combinations.

Now that everyone is testing the link - it keeps timing out but later, for a laugh do a test for Ebates and Whenu. HA - the Parasites are having each other for lunch!

Sad fact that 2 of the top web properties according to Netratings are parasites. I always thought Gator led the pack, but in this report Whenu has a big lead.

Tried for my domain and got:
Communication with Gator server failed. Please try again.

Gator has blocked the tool so you can no longer pull live results. You can still use it and it will show a cache of previous results from yesterday if there were any.

If your site is not listed and you just want to see what the results look like just type in any big name like Dell and you will see the competitive ads it places on Dell's web site.

From Thursday night to Friday, the system was indeed using cached results, but then I got it working again, thanks to generous technical assistance from hellyeah networks.
