upgrade to XP

I'm looking at upgrading my PC from ME to XP Pro and I was interested in peoples views on XP, I'm looking at getting the full program rather than an upgrade so I can format the h/d first

My system can handle it I think I'm running 1.7 512ram on 60h/d

Thanks, I'm getting the XP Pro upgrade today, as I've got the ME disk, Secondly, on the MS website they have a £50 voucher, bonus :)

I'm going to do it tomorrow otherwise the phone is bound to start ringing the moment I insert the disk

XP rocks!

I have had every MS OS going win2kpro at work, XP pro at home.

Recently reformatted HD and it was sooooo easy just booted straight from CD - love not having to worry about CD driver etc, no more floppies! Id didnt even say "hardware deteced" just installed them all :)

and as for the eye candy - its optional - I just turned it off to get better performance.
