Does Win2k have problems with HTML?

I have a database driven site hosted on Linux and using PHP with mySQL. On one of the pages I have three buttons lined up in a row... actually three different "forms" held in position with a table.

Someone using Win2K and IE 5 reports that they don't see the first button of the three in their browser. She sent me a copy of the source as her browser presented it and, sure enough, that first cell of the table is empty.

Others viewing the site with IE 5 running other versions of Windows report no problems. Does Win2K have problems viewing sites with IE 5? Are there some pitfalls I should be aware of?

one thing you may want to do is run the page through a validator and see what happens. Sometimes a missing tag etc can cause some funny things to happen.

Did this user try and reload the page a few times to see if it would showup? I've been to a few sites that sometimes only half the page loads and I have to refresh a couple times. I've never been able to figure out what the deal is.

W2K by itself doesn't have any problems with HTML.

As suggested above, try the validator.
