I cannot use View Source anymore in IE6, anoyne else experience this and know how to correct it. It may have happened after one of those IE updates, but I'm not sure, it's completely disabled and re-installing IE didn't help.

Also, will only allow only me to save images as BMP's even when image is a JPG?

This bizzare behaviour is really annoying me and I can't find any settings to fix it.

Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I guess a full re-install of IE 6 should fix it - dont ya just love microsoft products!

P.S. Whats an American Bulldog doing located in Canada?

AB, I have an XP machine exhibiting the same inability to view source. I was going to turn one of my Windows gurus loose on it, but no opportunity yet. If I find an answer, I'll post it. Otherwise, a complete reinstall seems like the only solution.

Did you try clearing your temporary internet files? This will fix the problem 90% of the time.

msr986, you hit the nail on the head, I can now view source and save jpg's as jpg's again.

Another one for the MS knowledge base. I knew someone here would have a fix for me, thanks.

Sinclairuser, this American Bulldog can't get a green card as he does not have a degree, so I will just have to wait a while till I can make the move to a piece of the Alabama coast. Sinclairuser do you still use one of those nifty little sinclairs?
