Is there a tool that can determine the number of lines of HTML is contained on a web site?

Go to the W3C HTML Validator [validator.w3.org ] And enter your url. Be sure to check off the "Show Source" button.

Or alternately you can upload your files here, [validator.w3.org ], but remember to click the "Show Source" button.

But this is only for one page at a time, sorry.

Go to ht*p://www.pension-schafspelz.de/kwc/ choose "Ganze Website prüfen" and "Ausführliche Angaben zeigen". This will spider you whole website. When it is done it will show a summary ("Website im Überblick"). The row "Zeilen HTML-Code" shows the number of rows of HTML code.

Eh that German site didn't suck in all my links. Not a bad idea though. The W3C Validator might work. I was looking for something a little speedier and requiring less user input but we'll see.

You might want to try again. It will spider .htm .PHP [php.net] .asp files and directories.
