I am trying to find out the angle this guy thinks he has?

OK, here is a weird one for you. I own and operate 300 city based websites each with their own domain name. i.e. NewYorkWidgets.com, MiamiWidgets.com, etc etc.

(p.s. For those who might be thinking it, NO, there is no duplicate content or products and this is not SPAM. These are city information portals.)

Anyway, someone (apparently with a lot of money) has went our and started buying up the opposite or reverse domain names. i.e. WidgetsNewYork.com, WidgetsMiami.com I am talking over 300 domains in the last 4 months! The weird thing is that his domains do not make sense (the order). I am using "Widgets" as an example, but the real domains actully read well. (just an example not my domain): myNewYork.xxx and this other guy is buying up NewYorkmy.xxx the grammer is terrible an why is he doing it?

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Grammar doesn't matter. He simply wants domain names with those keywords and you already have the ones that are grammatically correct.

Guess you're going to have another competitor sometime soon.
