A recent network and server replacement at work has has left me with new kit that basically has had most of the decent windows functionality tampered with.

One of the results is this pop up message appearing every time a webpage I'm trying to view has a script error:

-------

A run time error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug

Line #
Error: Expected ('.........')

-------

Any one know how to turn this little devil off - it is beggining to get on my wick.

TIA

Assuming you're talking about IE here, have you tried ...

Tools>Internet Options>Advanced

and, under the 'browsing' tab, check the status of 'Disable script debugging' and 'Display a notification about every script error'?

I was hoping that it was'nt in Internet Options - Our new Kit has had Internet options restricted to 'Admin only' - I work in the art department so we haven't been given the full control I need to access any system files that might be useful

This is the problem working in such a large bloody company - they have to use generic system restrictions to compensate for some users antics.

Downer - Looks like I will have to lump it :(

Cheers Anyway Mat
