I'm told there's ripping software that enables you to collect streaming music the same as if copying from an audio cd. For example, cnn.com has a radio "station" with tons of music, and I'd love to down load some if there's a way. Does anybody know about this? I'll admit that I'm pretty much a novice.... Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Um, that would be an infringement of copyright. Not a good idea.

...no experience with that, but have your tried Kazaa (kazaa.com).

You can get just about anything you can imagine. If you do, make sure you disble sharing with other users or your bandwidth will get sucked down to nothing.

(I hope no liberal rights activist wierdos bash me for suggesting this ;))

Kaazaa is a pretty good deal for finding music. Right before you get that though, go get Adware 6.0 because Kaazaa is full of spyware and will drive ya nuts.

The stuff doesn't really hurt anything, but I like to kill it once a week just to feel the power :)
