A move to non-Windows platform support is a good thing in my opinion - it allows webmasters who use windows media player as their preferred streaming and online media content type to reach a wider audience.

Very clever use of Kazaa by Microsoft. It's Microsoft showing (as Tedster's article link says) media giants that Media Players anti-piracy software deflates Kazaa's (perceived) threat to them.
