How to design search results...

I am done working on a search engine for where I work. But I am not happy with the copy or the way the results are designed.

So I am looking for some good examples of copy for all the possible results, and some good design examples for best ways to show results.

And what are some standards for navigating search results?

I have found a few articles, but they seem few and far between.

I have figured how to get the correct results in the correct order, so that is done. Now is just the tweaking and tuning of the copy text and the design layout and navigation..

I want this to be perfect. Any thoughts?

Simple and easy to scan and read. No frills and long copy. It would be great to highlight the search terms, bold, in the sentance found on the page. Look at the big search engines. They have been doing it well for years.
