Encrypted URL's

Ever seen one indexed?

Seems to me by the very nature of an encrpted URL that they would never be indexed.
However I was wondering if they could be indexed as I have a client (potential) who encrypts everything but the homepage. I did a domain check and there were 4 pages out of 1000's that were indexed, but they sure wouldn't rank high.

Encrypted how? Or could you be referring to unicode or alternative character sets?

It was one of those [machinename.domain.com...] Then when you click on it you get this in your browser bar zzSFWEWhjtfuFJDHCrutyADFGSDFGsdfgsdfg

I've managed to convince them to drop the encryption for search engine positioning purposes. Don't know why they had all these pages encrypted in the first place as there isn't any sensitive data there.

It was probably some precanned script that did it.

I've thought about doing something similar with dyno gen urls by turning the form values into a psuedo encrypted language to eliminate the ? and &.
