MSN email problem

I have an msn email account that customers from my site can email questions and comment to. Here is the problem...MSN! I am so mad. Yesterday a local radio station did an interview with me about my business. During the broadcast I got countless hits. So all day, I am waiting for my email comments. Nothing, but 2 emails all day.
Sometime during the day, my email account changed fonts (almost like you were accessing it from passport) And my address book was full of addresses that I deleted 6 months ago.
I email msn customer support and ask them if others are experiencing problems with their account. He said that they were experiencing problems (but wouldn't disclose what exactly) and they would be corrected in 48 hours.
The problem is that I NEED those emails that came yesterday. It is essential to my business and without them I am set back months! The msn support guy says no way can he help me. He said the emails would of been sent back to sender and he has no record of them to share.
If there anything I can do to get these emails? I think all of these problems are caused by the new MSN 8.
Help if you can.
Thanks

don't use MSN. It's simple. register your domain, and get your email to your domain.

txbakers is right. Holly, you can set up an alias on your domain in the control panel to forward holly@domain.net to your msn account or better yet - set it up as a pop3 account at your hosting and just download the mail with your email program.

I had MSN and had nothing but trouble - the email was never working. I changed ISPs and haven't ever had a day of trouble since.

To those who advised Holly to register a domain name and have MSN forward her mail to that name:

If MSN isn't delivering mails, why on earth would you think their forwarding system would be any better?

I think thats the other way around, send them to the domain name email address holly@mydomain.com and then redirect them to the MSN account.

Don't rely on free e-mail accounts. If you have a good business set up proper e-mail with your own domain - it will easily be worth the time, effort and money.

MSN Email is totaly wacked!
During the Christmas rush and right up to today any email to an MSN account that gets sent through my domain gets bounced back to me. Not a block, just a note about the server being reset. I have contacted their support several times and can't find a single person that even has a clue.
For now I just resend it through my ISP account, but it is getting to be a pain...
