links to ? pixel gifs

hi guys

I would love someone to give me a bit of advice about linking to spacer gifs on the home page of a site. I understand that I should put in links from here to my doorway pages etc but if i have say 10 different doorways for 10 search engines and each group is kept in its own folder on the site which of the doorways would I link to.

hope someone can understand what I mean (I'm having trouble myself :) :))

Well doorways may be on their way our but I've seen people that put a single link to hallway.html which then leads to the doorways.

Or I've seen people put a link to ONE doorway on EACH page in the site.

I've also seen people use deep content pages as a doorway.
A content rich page deep inside the site isn't a doorway but just a deep link.

Understand? I'm having trouble myself :)

knoxy - I'm not real clear on what your question is so you'll likely get the same quality answer! ;) That said, there is a thread here [webmasterworld.com]that talks about using transparent .GIFs as hidden links that may be useful to you. If your question is more about serving the proper doorway to the proper spider, that's more a cloaking issue and you may want to do some reading in that forum...
