Hi all
Im a novice trying to 'clean up' my 2 banned sites but am thouroughly scared to do anything at all to help spiders find it them now that ive removed what I think are the offending problems. I am ashamed to say they are built in frames but I have a flat index page at the front of both.
1) is an index page going to the main framed site against the rules?
2)The index contains 1 link to all individulal pages and each page has a 'this is a page from' link back to the index so someone who finds a page can see all the pages by going to the index. Again - if I do this on every page (just so people can find the main menu) is this spam?
3) My last question is this. The two sites had some duplicate pages since they overlap in subject matter. I have now removed duplicates but since they cross in subject, some of the subject links on site A point to pages actually on site B and vice versa to avoid duplicates. I cant believe this is spam as there are no dupes but have a horrid feeling it might be crosslinking? Example: Site A is a general advice site but has a section that is the main subject of site B. Rather than duplicate pages as I originally did for convienience I just pointed the links to the other site.
Any help would be apreciated. You people already helped me decide to bother cleaning up at all:-) Thanks.
