anyone know how to back up the typed urls list for ie6 on windows 98se?

Run regedit.

Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

Highlight that key. Then on the menu, choose: Registry ¦ Export Registry File. Choose a name and a location that you want it backed up to.

Remember, when you re-import it (by double clicking the .reg file, any new TypedURLs will be replaced with the last backup)

P.S. I should add, that you should not have IE running when you do this. I think (but I'm not positive) that the last URLs are saved after you close IE. And just something else, if you want to delete your typed URLs, then just delete that key. (same thing that TweakUI does)
