I was one of the gullible peopel who signed up to a uk ISP in exchange for a free .co.uk domain name. To be honest their tos is not unreasonable. You are required to dial up using their number once every 30 days. Recently I have noticed thay their server has a habbit of going down when it is being crawled by google. I guess as a free host this was their way of reducing bandwidth. This time they have developed a new problem. Google is hitting my other domains now. and the site in in question there is nothing but a page with the Webhosts name and a link to their services page. Just think of the pagerank they could acheive if they inserted this link on to all of their customers pages. If I access my domain it takes me to their page, if i go to my domain with /index.htm it shows my index page. What are they playing at. Needless to say I will be moving away from them to another host. I noticed this three months ago and i how see that their homepage has a PR6 and their services page has a PR7. Dont see why anyone woudl legitamitly link to a hosts services page.
If this is the site in your profile, it looks like you're not hosted on Apache, so my first idea won't work. I was thinking that they had messed up your DirectoryIndex settings in Apache mod_dir. But Brett's header checker says your server is thttpd.
So, all I can say is ring them up and complain!
