Product Online Contests

I was reading the fine print on one of those product on-line contest (IE. Sprite, Friotolay have them as example) when something caught my attention. WEB Tv users were not allowed to particiapte. It didn't effect me, but I was curious as to why it was that way.

Any ideas?

Web Tv doesn't offer as much functionality as a computer does. I don't think it can see flash or new plugins for video, music, and other multimedia stuff that may be used for the contest. I have only used my grandmothers twice so if anyone can nail down some more limitations I would love to know.
