Same here Lawman. Just switched to a new host that uses 6.2. I cant stand it. If you compare the stats with the raw logs it doesn't seem to wash. Kinda fun to peak in every now and again to see what's happening in real time on your site, but other than that I don't use it.

Sorry for the delay in response, lawman. Would it be possible for you to install your own stats which you could customize the way you want them? That's really the best solution, if you can.

I'll try to rustle you up some more help with this, if I can.

Since I work with several sites at different hosts, I got into the habit of downloading logs and analyzing them locally. It provides more uniform results.

There are many log analyzer programs available, even a few freebies that are pretty good. If you want to explore this option, this Google search [google.com] will get you started.

Discussions about the merits of specific commercial software are discouraged but I think it's OK to say that I have an early version of FastStats that continues to meet my needs.

Can anyone recommend any good FREE analyzers?

lawman,

I was looking through their site and going through the end user reports. It looks like a very robust product. It seems to be fully customizable and contains more information than I would know what to do with.

Have you had a chance to work with it yet since your host switched?
