I am going to be starting a newsletter, and I was wondering how you go about doing this. How do you add pictures to your email newsletter, and how do you make it. Please let me know how you design a newsletter.

Thank you,

Christian

The software that I have is Dreamweaver, Photoshop 7, Flash, Freehand, and other programs. Those are my main programs. What can I use to make the newsletter, and how do I upload it to be mailed? I am really confused.

I would also like to not have to use Microsoft Outlook. Is there any way I can import the code to Yahoo? Outlook doesn't do so good on my outgoing server.

So basically, I would like to be able to make the newsletter in dreamweaver and upload it to yahoo. Is this possible?

You would design it just like you would any other HTML page. Lay it out as you desire and include your content sections. I don't understand the "upload to yahoo" part of this ... unless you mean you are hosting your site on yahoo?

How would I send that document to other people. I know how to design the newsletter in dreamweaver, but I don't know how to send it to people.

Now I am indeed confused. The title of the thread asks How Do You Design A Newsletter? But you state that you do indeed know how to do that part. OK. Then on to the next question ...

So you have a mailing list and you want to send the document to people on your mailing list from your HTTP server? Or are you asking how to send the document to people from your Outlook email client?

Sorry for the confusion. I am asking how to send the document through Yahoo. I don't know if this is possible though. Right now Outlook isn't working for my computer. In the mean time I would like to use Yahoo.

If you can, I would also like to know how to send the document using Outlook, for future reforence.

Thank you,

Sorry if I confused you

No worries.
I'm not certain how to do it through Yahoo, but if it is webmail you should be able to send it as an attachment. You could do the same with Outlook. Or, you could just open the HTML newsletter in a browser, copy and paste the information and send it that way.

sounds like you meant to title your post "How do I create more spam email"

No, this isn't spam, this is a good newsletter, one that people sign up for

It might be wise, though, not to accept AOL addresses in your double-opt-in process. It's too easy for AOLers to casually get your entire site shut down.
