For days my firewall has intercepted an incoming IP 195.93.34.51 which declares itself to be a "system" item.

Any ideas on how to identify or better still kill it?

Hi Peter

Are you on AOL? This is what it checks out as:

195.93.34.51

Class C Networks - Block 195.93

195.93.0.0 - 195.93.63.255 (AOL-EU-1) AOL Inc; US

Thanks Toadhall:

can you explain what it means?

i recently had my pseud. taken by a spammer and was suspended by AOL until their security checked me out.

Could this be a continuing check?

I would assume it's the network checking you out. Harmless. Common background noise.
