Excel help. is this possible

I have a spreadsheet that has dropdown feature. I want the value of the drop down to populate the next blank cell.

A1 = drop down menu
A4 = first empty cell

I want the value from the A1 drop down to populate A4, next time it will populate A5.

Is this possible?

All this is possible in Excel - you need to check the documentation for VBA or for making macros - this can be done programatically. You will probably have to have and event for when the drop-down box is clicked.
