What technologies do you guys use ?

What are your preferred technologies and why ?

Like: OS, HTTP server, Database server, Application server/mod/extenstion ..., and an MTA.

My preference is: FreeBSD, Apache, PostgreSQL, Resin, Qmail.

Reasons: reliable, fast, relatively cheap ($500 licensing), secure, not a widely used set-up, thus my clients are MINE forever :)

mostly:
Linux, Apache, perl, MySQL, sendmail+imap server (restrictive setup).

I still make heavy use of flat files and plain old home-brewed perl scripts.
Why? It is all free, easy to hack, and very portable. I could set up shop on any server within 30 minutes.
