SPAM is one thing but spoofing is beginning to really annoy me.

Is there or is anything we as webmasters can do about it?

Is anything being done at any other levels?

It is getting out of hand, with more and more people not understanding that the emails are not from you.

Sender Policy Framework might be an idea. I don't know how well it actually works.

I had this problem with my website. I had to go into my account manager and limit the number of email accounts allowed to just those used by my staff and I had to enable Spam Assassin, which can backfire by classifying important emails as junk. But I was getting spoofed 100 times a day and I had to do something to stop it and so far, what I've done seems to have worked.

Oh yea, I forgot to say that the culprit used email forms on my site to do their dirty work and I have taken them down also. Which is probably what actually stopped the fiends, rather than the other steps mentioned above.
