In many occasions, sent email bounces back with a postmaster notification failure. Other mailers, particularly Yahoo addresses also mention that the address has been removed (i.e. long time of inactivity).
Is there any way to test a specific email address, prior sending a message to it? For example like when someone can 'ping' an IP address to find if it exists.

Maybe, connnecting to the server and do a VRFY command for each address.

I was hoping that there might be any online tool that does that query for me. Now I have to install Linux on my PC. Wonder if Cygwin will do the job for me, as I had some problems installing RedHat on a dual partition in the past. Thanks for the suggestion!
