Redirect "personal web pages" to new domain

Problem with provider forces change

I have had a 9 page site hosted on the personal web pages of my broadband provider for some time.

They have had a considerable amount of problems with a conversion to a new system, and it appears now that their personal webpages will be down for 2-3 weeks.

I can't live with that, so, I have secured a domain name, and have chosen a new provider, and with all that I've read, I believe that I should do a 301 redirect from the old pages to the new pages on the new site, when the new site is up and running.

Here's my specific question:

Each of my pages currently shows a 404. Also, the address of the index page of my site is XXX.home.example.com. So, the domain is not mine, if that makes a difference in trying to do a 301.

(Sorry if I am confusing you, I'm even a bit confused myself on how to ask my question. I hope this was clear.)

I've search the Webmaster World site for guidance on how to handle the redirects under these circumstances, but have found nothing.

Could someone please comment?

[edit reason] Please use example.com for all example URL's.... some others actually do resolve. [/edit]

trillianjedi,

I used example.com in my post - I'm sorry, I don't understand your edit...

My edit: Unless you mean I should have used name.home.example.com instead of the generic XXX.home.example.com (XXX = deleted characters).
