My Host only updates my raw logfiles ONCE a day

Is this normal?

My raw log files get updated and zipped ONCE a day, usually between midnight and 3 am. Ideally, I would have access to my logfiles updated in real time, since I use my own stats programs and not AWSTATS. Is this normal for a host to provide files like this, updated so infrenquently?

I need a host that is more supportive of their users, and will provide them the services they need. When I email my host about this issues, they seem a little bothered. I am trying to run a business and I need my logfiles updated more frequently; these guys really don't seem very willing to help me.

Any comments?
Thanks

Once a day is common. If your provider can't accommodate your need to get logs cut more frequently than once per day, you should probably get another provider. It is generally a matter of a quick change to configuration files.

Yeah, once a day here too. Use a different program like Google Analytics to complement it.
