SEO update

Need to bring my websites uptodat - where shall I start

I last updated and optamised my website about 2 years ago after visitng this forum. It made a big difference to my site's ranking.

However I've negelected my site for a while and my ranking has nose dived. I would like to catch up with the latest googles' updates, dos and don't etc....

Is there a thread on this forum or a website I could visit to re-educate myself?
