Hi!

So, I have been using SecureFX Version 2.0.5 for several years now, and I've never had a problem. For some reason, it just started acting up today.

I tried to upload a folder to my webhosting site, and it started the transfer and then froze. SecureFX didn't freeze, just the transfer itself. After several minutes of inactivity, I had to click cancel. I tried it multiple times, I even tried it on a different laptop (same OS though, Windows XP Pro), and with different web hosting companies. Everytime the same thing happened, it would start to transfer the first file, and then nothing.

Can anyone help me? I'm connecting over an unencrypted wireless DSL connection (Verizon), running SecureFX 2.0.5, on Windows XP Pro.

THanks so much!

I just tested mine, save version same OS (and after the latest WinXP update), works fine.

It does this with 2 different PC's?

If so, I would download a free FTP program and try it from there, maybe your DSL provider has started blocking certain types of data transfers to prevent file sharing...

Also, if using SFTP try FTP or visa versa...

I think you were right about it being my ISP. I was able to successfully ftp all of my files by switching from my Verizon DSL service to AOL dial-up. That's definitely going to be a problem for me in the future.

Thanks,
