Recovering Images Through SE Cache?

Today a colleague of mine accidentally deleted one of my old personal sites. The PC on which I had this site backed up crashed a while ago, and because I haven't edited the site recently it's not in the Dreamweaver cache.

I've used the Google cache to recover (dated versions of) the site's .htms but the stylesheet and the images, files of great importance to me, seem to be gone forever. Is there any search engine or site that may have these images cached? It's a small site, so it's not in archive.org, but I'd appreciate any tips.

Have you contacted the host to see if they do backups?

Fortunately for me they have nightly backups. That's a relief. :)

I guess I'd still like to know if there's a search engine or site that caches images. Then who knows, if traffic got heavy a webmaster could hotlink his or her own cached images. (Kidding, sort of...)

I don't think the WayBack machine archives images. I could be wrong though.

You could check to see what's been cached in your own browser?
